Mommy and Daddy
There is no politically correct or easy way to say this…. but Izaak (just a few minutes ago) has finally crossed all the way in to “big boy” land.
Izaak has (finally) gone poopies on the potty!
It has been a long battle filled with stress, mess and accidents along the way, but today was the big first step to big boy land.
He will also (tomorrow) get to play Wack-A-Mole and/or go to Chuckie-Cheese… both rewards he has been told he could have once the big event has occurred.

A great man never ignores the simplicity of a child
Well, it has been way too long since the last blog… I have no idea why I cant manage to keep this thing up to date from time to time.
Well, I am working a 12 hour day, and I am bored at work, so I thought being productive (in some way) would help pass the remaining time.
Nana is here for a night. She has a work conference in Niagara Falls, so with a little planning she was dropped off in here (on the way to The Falls) and gets to see Izaak and the rest of the family.
Izaak got the surprise of Nana when Daddy and Nana picked Izaak up from pre-school… it was snack time, so the Cheese-Its has to come home (of course)… Cheese-Its are the #2 food group for Izaak, behind juice.
Not that much (believe it or not) going on with Izaak. It is finally warm, so he wants to go to the slides all the time (and I swear that we live in the right town for that, as there are probably 20 parks with slides and swings here).
Some high points for the last few weeks:
* went to Long Island to see his cousins, and slept over their house… he stayed up past all of the girls according to Grandpa and Sue
* likes to watch Daddy ride the lawn tractor and cut the grass, he actually seemed upset one day when I cut the grass before he got home
* (IMHO) becoming a Mama’s boy, and I am OK with that. Any time something goes wrong, he wants hugs from Mama
* Bears has more and more personality all the time. But with Izaak wanting him to have a bath (a run in the washer and dryer, which Izaak likes to put bears in the washer) regularly, he is getting less and less full of stuffings

Yeah to DADDY FOR KEEPING UP WITH THE BLOG!!
Not here to write a novel but there were a couple cute things to put down…
A few weeks ago Izaak passed gas and i asked writer if he did so? Izaak said
” No mommy, my butt just burped” – LOL
Last night i was getting a load of dark laundry together and i took my jeans off and put them
in the basket which left me in my shirt, undies and socks. Izaak looked at me and said
” Mommy did you go pee pee in your pants?” – LOL
(Cuz when he has accidents, he takes his pants off and walks around with no pants on)
Since turning 3 his imagination has gone thru the roof! He does alot of imaginary play with his cars and trucks and trains and he also LOVES riding his Thomas the train Grandpa got him Christams 2006.
Izaak loves his daycare/preschool!! He loves the other kids. Its makes me happy to see him play with other kids and have fun with art projects. He is doing well!
Potty training is going fairly well !! He can go pee independently with little to no difficulty but going poop on the potty is still not happening. He knows he gets to go to Chuck E Cheese if he goes but that is not helping… I am sure he will go when ready .. For some reason he is scared to go and we are not sure why.
As of last week Izaak is 42.5 pounds and at his last physical in Jan he was 40 inches tall. And we found out last Friday that he went from a size 8 to a 10 1/2 !! He is excited to be wearing more comfy shoes!! He just grows like a weed!!
Izaak is still very sweet…he is now enjoying helping … he helped me bring in the groceries yesterday from the car and he helped me clean up a little.. He is starting to become less of a hugger and kisser but is still plenty affectionate. He loves to laugh…love when daddy tickles him. He is still a flirt with the ladies… 
He still has his little bear, “Bears” as his lovey..Altho now there is Bears, Bears friend, Bears sister, baby Bear, and preschool bear. LOL
